The eighth China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo will be held in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, from Oct 17 to 21.
This year's expo will feature 211 cultural projects focused on cultural ecological protection, traditional handicrafts, and intangible cultural heritage items contributing to rural revitalization and those listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage items.
The projects will also include traditional Chinese tea making techniques and related customs, Peking Opera, Kunqu opera, paper cutting, shadow puppetry, and traditional Chinese medicine experiences.
The Jinan booth in the Shandong exhibition area will showcase its spring culture via healthcare, handicrafts and quyi culture, a traditional Chinese spoken and sung art form.
