Shandong's time-honored brand protection, inheritance, innovation and development practices and measures were included in the Annual Development Report of China Time-Honored Brands (2022), which was released at the conference.
At the conference, officials from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Intellectual Property Office made policy modifications for strengthening the protection of time-honored cultural heritage and intellectual property rights. Representatives from professional institutions also shared their insights on the development of time-honored brands and digital transformation.
In recent years, Shandong province has implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Ministry of Commerce, and built four systems for the protection, inheritance, innovation and development of time-honored brands.
A series of practical measures have been implemented in the province. It has launched guidelines to promote the high-quality development of time-honored brands, published Shandong Time-honored Brands Annals, hosted the China Time-honored Brands (Shandong) Expo, and organized livestreaming events for local time-honored brands.
Shandong time-honored enterprises such as Tsingtao Brewery, Dong-E-E-Jiao Co, Dezhou Braised Chicken and Yutang Pickled Vegetables were listed as national models for brand innovation.
