The 2023 China (Zibo) International Ceramic Art and Culture Exchange Week recently commenced at the Li Ziyuan Art Center in Zichuan district, Zibo city, Shandong province.
The event drew numerous ceramic art experts from around the world.
Over the course of 14 days, more than 30 ceramists, hailing from 11 countries, such as Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, and South Korea, will engage in discussions and exchanges concerning ceramic creation, firing techniques, and the evolution of ceramic art.
The event featured ceramic art seminars and international exhibitions. Ceramists also demonstrated their craft by sculpting and creating ceramics at the venue.
Zichuan district, also known as the ceramic production hub in Zibo city, boasts a robust industrial foundation and rich cultural heritage. Over the years, ceramic artists in the district have continued to build upon the legacy of traditional culture by creating exceptional ceramic art pieces that showcase the intricate craftsmanship and artistic achievements within the contemporary Chinese ceramic sphere.
